Overview
Updating the 1997 first edition, for which no publisher is named, Weatherill (European Union law, Somerville, College, Oxford, England) constructs a bridge between basic principles of the Union's law and the particular context in which they are applied in consumer policy. He assumes only a basic knowledge of the European Commission legal order, and suggests that his textbook would be suitable for an introductory graduate or undergraduate course in EC law covering institutional and constitutional law and the basic framework of trade law.
