European sources of scientific information, while the eighth resurrects technical. Partly derived from the Longman Reference on Research database of research and technology facilities, the book is a first source of information for those researching sci-tech in Europe. It covers countries of the EEC, EFTA, and Comecon (excludes the USSR). Arrangement is by subject with the source listed alphabetically under its country. After the basic data (address, fax, etc.) entries give affiliation, founding date, contact names, subjects, library facilities and holdings, information services, consultancy, courses offered outsiders, and publications.
