Overview

Traveling throughout the Southeastern states introduced us to the mysteries and history of the Deep South, and included five intriguing winters on an island off the southwest coast of Florida.

Synopsis

Exploring the Southeast is the fourth book in the five-book "Maverick Series." Previous books told about our RV travels across Canada, the Western states, Mexico and the Southwest. This book shares our travel adventures in the Southeastern states. Five winters were spent on an island off the Southwest coast of Florida. Here we explored waterways deep in the Ten Thousand Island area, and remote, white sand beaches in the Gulf of Mexico. Each outing brought surprises and new discoveries. Also included are stories of interesting stops all across Texas, as well as in many other Southeastern states.
