Overview

This book is a collection of meditations on family life drawn from the ancient book, The Rule of St. Benedict.

Synopsis

The family is a place of spiritual growth, a holy enclosure. The Family Cloister is a collection of meditations on family life drawn from the ancient book, The Rule of St. Benedict. Seven key elements serve as the outline of the book: Design, Spirituality, Discipline, Health, Community, Service, and Growth. The movement progresses from inward to outward living, like a natural spring, which wells up and overflows.

The Robinson family gathers around the table at mealtime, hold hands and pray together. This simple act of family devotion is the essence of the family cloister.
