Overview

The Australian track is a 1450 kilometer bushwalking route that takes the adventurous from Macquari Place in Sydney to parts of Southern Australia, including Newcastle and Melbourne. This guide covers the first half of the trail, which includes various fire trails, aqueducts and long forgotten railway lines. Far from an ordinary travel guide, "Federation Track" includes information on transportation, altitudes, local anecdotes, and points of historic or scenic interest.
