Femme's Dictionary

This hip poetry collection blends spoken word and language poetry with social commentary that speaks to younger women in a modern voice that still encompass the narrative and lyric traditions.

Carol Guess is the author of 2 novels, as well as a memoir. She teaches at Western Washington University and lives in Seattle, WA. She has a BA ftom Columbia University and an MFA from Indiana University. Her poetry is published widely including Poetry Northwest and the Harvard Gay and Lesbian Review.
