Fiesta Babies

Little ones will love marching, singing and cha-cha-cha-ing along with this simple rhyme and chanting the occasional Spanish words—besos, coronas, abrazos—which are defined in the back. Illustrator Amy Cordova extends author Carmen Tafolla's playful theme with vibrant depictions of a loving Hispanic family, neighborhood friends and bouncy little dog. AMY CÓRDOVA is an artist and educator who lives in the mountains of northern New Mexico, where she and her partner, Dan Enger, own a gallery brimming with their bold and colorful works. Her previous book with Tricycle Press, What Can You Do With a Rebozo?, won the Pura Belpré Honor for Illustration.
