Overview

Have you ever wondered where God was in the midst of difficult times? Have you ever found yourself mired in the troubles of life and feeling very alone? Finding Glory in the Thorns tells the inspiring story of a community that embraces a child with special needs and how all those around her discover that God is truly present and powerful in good times and in bad. For those personally walking through struggles or others who are attempting to provide help along the way, we learn to see the adventure in adversity. The book also provides a practical Road Map tool that demonstrates how to navigate questions of surrender, faith, hope, joy and sharing while ultimately keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus.

About the Author, Larry Jamieson

Larry and Lisa Jamieson are inspiring, engaging speakers and co-authors of Finding Glory in the Thorns. In 1998 the Jamieson’s were experiencing renewal after a crisis in their marriage, delighting in two young daughters and enjoying thriving careers developing customized training for Fortune 500 companies. Then their third daughter was diagnosed with Angelman Syndrome and life turned upside down. Those experiences inspired the formation of WALK RIGHT IN Ministries β€” an organization seeking to cooperate with the Holy Spirit in equipping and connecting people for faith, obedience, and hope in Christ, especially through life’s difficulties. Their story has been featured internationally on television and radio programs including β€œWords to Live By,” β€œ100 Huntley Street” in Canada, and My Refuge Radio in Belize.
