The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC), and International Society of Fire Service Instructors (ISFSI) are pleased to bring you Fire Service Instructor: Principles and Practice, a new text developed to meet and exceed the 2007 Edition of NFPA 1041, Standard for Instructor Professional Qualifications. This text, which utilizes a case-based approach to learning in order to encourage critical thinking, is the core of an integrated teaching and learning system for Fire Instructor I and II level courses. Fire Service Instructor: Principles and Practice is not only designed to help students meet the requirements to become a fire instructor, but also to empower them to become great educators within the fire and emergency services.
