Overview

In Flip Flop, best friends Chickie and Brianna know everything about each other...or so Chickie thinks. When they win a spot on the reality TV show, they are ecstatic. The girls change bedrooms, and along with a team of designers, get ready to do a room makeover. Brianna seems strangely quiet, and when the production team tells her they want drama, she bursts into tears. Eventually Chickie finds out that all is not what it seems at Brianna's house, and the "drama" Brianna fears is not the made-for-television variety. More than the makeover of their bedrooms, both girls learn a lesson as to what will truly make over their homes and not-so-perfect families.

When best friends Briana and Chickie win a spot on the reality television series "Flip Flop," Briana has an opportunity to reveal the terrible secret of her father's alcoholism, and to learn to trust God with the makeover of not just her bedroom, but her family as well.

Synopsis

Chickie comes from an almost-perfect family, and Briana loves being the adopted second daughter. She eats dinner at the Wells home more than her own -- it's a welcome refuge from the pain and secrets in her family. But when the highly rated TV decorating sensation, Flip Flop comes to town, there's more than one dramatic "reveal." Will Briana have the courage to face her problems head on? And will Chickie and Briana's bedroom makeovers give them the rooms of their dreams or the stuff of nightmares? This is the second installment of Wendy Lawton's new Real TV series, inspired by reality television programs on The Learning Channel and BBC Television such as Trading Spaces and Changing Rooms.
