Overview

It's Science! is a new young science series that introduces the reader to the basic concepts of physical science covered in the first years of school. It also encourages awareness of scientific processes at work in the world around us. A simple text and fresh, open designs carry the reader along and encourage an interactive approach, with things to notice, guess, work out, or play on the page. The books are illustrated mostly with photographs, commissioned specifically for this series.

An interactive approach which introduces the concept of force as something that pushes or pulls and includes a discussion of such forces as gravity, wind, magnetism, weight, and water.
