Overview

On September 17, 1925, a bus crash in Mexico City claimed the lives of several people and injured many more. One of those most badly hurt, a beautiful, talented young woman, decided to take up painting during her long and painful recovery. Thus, out of a gruesome tragedy, the 20th century gained one of its greatest artists-Frida Kahlo.
