What a prize! What a find! What fun! A set of 6" by 9" alphabet cards, each one crazier than the other. Children are used to seeing F is for Fish and W is for Wagon, but with this set, children will learn that F is for Footsey-Foo and W is for Whirly-Whirleroo. The illustrations are simply perfect and each opens the door for lots of discussion between the child and the reader. You have to love words like, Gzonk, Jello-Melly, Neenel-Nonnel and Hoofle-Foofle. The creachlings found on each card are humorous, colorful, and down right silly. Did I say silly? Maybe I should say ridiculously silly! I smiled at each one. I can't imagine any child not falling in love with this set of alphabet cards and I am sure they will have fun sharing them with their friends. It is wonderful when someone has the talent to take an ordinary item such as the alphabet and turn it into something new and exciting. I guarantee there will be no moaning or groaning when it is time to learn the A, B, C's. The size is great for small hands. They are sturdy and large and will withstand a lot of handling. These would be great tacked up in a child's room so they can be looked at time and time again. This set of cards will definitely make you popular with the who child receives these as a gift! I highly recommend this set of alphabet cards.
