Overview
The authors present constructive methods for the analysis of linear and weakly nonlinear boundary-value problems for a broad class of functional equations. The preliminary chapter gives background on metric and normed spaces, Hilbert and Banach spaces, linear operators and unilateral inverse, generalized inverse, and pseudo-inverse operators. Subsequent chapter topics include generalized inverse operators in Banach spaces, pseudo-inverse operators in Hilbert spaces, boundary-value problems for operator equations and for systems of ordinary differential equations, impulsive boundary-value problems for systems of ordinary differential equations and solutions of differential and difference systems bounded on the entire real axis.
