Fry's series of seven books about how to study are aimed primarily at adults. However, children in middle school also will be able to understand the language and benefit from them, albeit doing so with parental assistance would be most helpful. Each book covers its topic in a clear and organized fashion, often referencing another book in the series for more information. Bold text introduces chapter, sub-topics, and provides emphasis for important points. In Get Organized, Fry urges students to analyze where, how, and when they study best to create the ideal study environment. He also recommends simple techniques (such as the to-do list, schedules and calendars) to help students become more organized and efficient. Fry succeeds in keeping the information concise using simple language, and offers practical suggestions with a dose of humor. The book contains an index.
