About the Author, Mick Rock
Mick Rock was born in London and educated at Caius College, Cambridge, where he studied modern languages for his degree and movies and rock n roll for fun. He has been a video director, art director, a writer, a photo - collagiste, but is mainly known for his rock n roll photography. His primary obsessions are Kundalini yoga, visionary poets, cats, film noir and unnatural blondes. A resident of New York since the early eighties, his lust for the image burns as strong as ever as he continues to lens the modern music landscape.
