About the Author, Robert J. Holton

ROBERT HOLTON is a leading historical sociologist. Currently Professor of Sociology at Trinity College, Dublin, he is the author of a number of books and articles on social theory and globalization. His books include Globalization and the Nation-State (Macmillan 1998) and Making Globalization (Palgrave 2005).
