Rabbi Wuzburger is Professor of Philosophy at Yeshiva University and headed both the Rabbinical Council of America and the Synagogue Council of America. He was editor of the leading Jewish Orthodox Journal, Traditional, for many years. Rabbi Wurzburger serves on numerous interdenominational committees and boards.
About the Author
Rabbi Walter S. Wurzburger is Adjunct Professor of Philosophy at Yeshive University, and has headed both the Rabbinical Council of America and the Synagogue Council of America during his illustrious career. He has received both the National Rabbinic Leadeship Award and the SamuelBelkin Literary Award.
Rabbi Wurzburger is the author of Ethics of Responsibility: Pluralistic Approaches to Covenantal Ethics and co-editor of A Treasury of Tradition. He is Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Shaaray Tefila in Lawrence, New York where he and his wife reside.
