Overview

Rabbi Wurzburger examines the "proofs for the existence of God" that philosophers throughout the centuries have expounded, and then shows how each person can find his own "proof" by first understanding his personal relationship to God.

Rabbi Wurzburger is one of the leading Jewish thinkers of today. This book helps people explore their connection with God without being overbearing or didactic. It is counter-culture insofar as it promotes introspection and advocates an individualistic path to God, but within the larger framework of Jewish ethics and religion. Rabbi Wuzburger is Professor of Philosophy at Yeshiva University and headed both the Rabbinical Council of America and the Synagogue Council of America. He was editor of the leading Jewish Orthodox Journal, Traditional, for many years. Rabbi Wurzburger serves on numerous interdenominational committees and boards.
