Children's Literature

In this retelling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, pre-readers are encouraged to read along with their parents as many nouns appear as rebus pictures throughout the text. Simple text and large print make this picture reader of the "All Aboard Reading" series easy to read for most beginning readers. Whyatt messes up his older brother's room and asks the Super Readers for help fixing things with his brother. As in any episode of Super Why!, the Super Readers look in a book, in this case Goldilocks and the Three Bears. The Super Readers become super heroes and fly into the book, becoming part of the plot, finding clues and words to help them along the storyline. Whyatt learns that to fix things with his brother he should offer to help clean up. The work ends with a Rebus guide for parents that can double as flash cards for a child.
