Overview
The history of change in schools in most western societies has been about brave beginnings and disappointing results. As a result, the literature on school change in recent years has tended to concentrate on the initiation and implementation of school reform. This literature is less complete, however, on the sustaining of change and the diffusion or "scaling up" of change from small innovative settings to more systemic reform. It is the purpose, therefore, of Good School/Real Schools to provide change agents, policy makers, and students of educational change with deeper insight to denote these vital change processes.Book Details
