Gr 1-3-These biographies offer the most basic facts on the lives of two pioneers. Both layouts consist of large, easy-to-read text and black-and-white and color reproductions, with captions that enhance information. "Now You Know" boxes include interesting material, and highlighted ovals contain quotes by or about the subject.
