Gr 3-5 The information presented in both of these British imports is basically accurate, but by no means is it detailed. Both titles have two-page chapters on various topics. The color photos cover a minimum of one half of each page, resulting in limited space for the text. The text in each is clear and concise. Most of the captions are adequate, but a few are not. Both titles contain a production map and at least one diagram of a piece of equipment. Grain also contains a good cross-section diagram of a kernel of wheat. Strictly introductory materials.
