About the Author, Barrie Rickards

Barrie Rickards is Emeritus Professor of Paleontology and Biostratigraphy at the University of Cambridge, a Founding Fellow of the Pike Angling Club, and an former President of the Pike Society and the Lure Angler's Society. He has published more than 700 magazine articles; this is his 26th fishing book. Malcolm Bannister was a founder member of the Pike Angler's Club and Membership Secretary of the Lure Angler's Society. They are the coauthors of The Ten Greatest Pike Anglers.
