About the Author, Noah benShea

Noah benShea is a poet, philosopher, scholar, humorist, lecturer, and international best-selling author who was, by the age of 23, an assistant dean of students at UCLA a by the age of 30, a consulting fellow to the esteemed Center for the study of Democratic Institutions in Santa Barbara, California. His first book, a collection of poetry titled Don't Call It Anything, received the Schull Award from the Southern California Poetry Society. He has lectured at numerous universities, and has given a keynote address at the Library of Congress. His work has been included in publications of Oxford University and the World Bible Society in Jerusalem. Often referred to as the guru's guru, Noah benShea is the author of eleven books, including the broadly loved Jacob the Baker series, which are translated around the world and embraced as timeless fables. His insightful perspective on life, Noah's Window, is carried globally via the Internet and has been enjoyed by countless readers for many years via the New York Times Newspaper Regional Network. His essays were nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in Journalism in 1997, and in 1999, he was nominated for the Grawemeyer Award for Ideas Improving the World. His most recent book, Remembering This My Children, is a collection of Mr. benShea's original thoughts twined with heart-touching photographs intended as a timeless legacy between parents and children. In addition to his reflective life, Mr. benShea was a founding partner and later chairman of a national manufacturing company, and he continues to serve as an advisor to North American business and community leaders.
