Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot

This book is a little treasury that describes how to create whistles, dolls, puppets, and a host of other fun things from the bounty of nature. These are not really crafts because, to create these items, you don't need anything except the plant or flower and a bit of practice. Having made clover chains, grass whistles and dandelion curls, the book did bring back fond memories of days I spent outdoors during my childhood. If you have never tried to have fun with flowers and seeds, give it a whirl. On your next walk in a meadow, park, woods, or your own backyard share the fun with kids you know. A useful book for teachers, camp counselors and the like.
