About the Author, Gabin, Ruth E. Gavin

William A. Sabin has retired as publisher of business books in the Professional Book Group, a division of The McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc. He has written many articles in the area of language and communication, and he speaks frequently at regional and national conferences. He is also coauthor of College English: Grammar and Style. Mr. Sabin is now a year-round resident of Bristol, Maine.
