Synopsis

When a princess who behaves like a dragon meets a dragon who would like to be a princess, there are unexpected results. A story for children who don't always succeed in being well-behaved.

Kathleen Karr - Children's Literature

Imported from England, this large-size board book, part of the "Best Things" series, explores all the good experiences of a child's full day. Five full-page spreads address words like crunch, munch, slurp, sweet, salty, snuggly, pretty, tiny, cuddly. The simple words are written large enough for a child to pick out letters, while Annie Kubler's accompanying pencil and watercolor sketches fill the pages with very busy, happy youngsters of every color. The sturdily bound book might be a tad large for the tiniest toddlers to cart around, but will work just fine in mom's lap. 2002, Child's Play, Ages 6 mo. to 3.
