About the Author, Debora Pearson

Debora Pearson is the author of several children's books, including "Load 'Em Up Trucks" illustrated by Chum McLeod, the first book in the "Mighty Wheels" series. She co-authored the first two books in Annick Press's "Adventure Travel" series: "52 Days by Camel: My Sahara Adventure" (1998) and "By Truck to the Arctic" (1998). Debora is the editor of the acclaimed "The TV Book: The Kids' Guide to Talking Back" (1996) by Shelagh Wallace. She lives in Toronto.

Chum McLeod has illustrated books for several publishers, including the popular "Henry and the Cow Problem" (1992) for Annick Press. Chum lives in Barrie, Ontario.
