Children's Literature -
A very happy black and white cow is jumping over a crescent moon on the cover of this board book that presents the classic nursery rhyme of the title. The embroidered images on felt-like material have a lovely feel, and each page can be opened by using the ribbon tag attached to it. We see the cat playing its fiddle as the cow jumps over the moon; the dog has a laugh and the dish runs away with the spoon. While it doesn't make much sense, the rhyme has been around a long time and seems to be enjoyed by little ones. Also, the ribbons appeal to babies, who can touch and chew on them. It might make for a messy book, but the ribbons can probably be wiped clean. Part of the "My First Taggies" series.Book Details
