About the Author, Eric Hansen

Eric Hansen began hiking with his family at age four and has never stopped. A frequent contributor to Backpacker, Silent Sports, and other magazines, he divides his hiking time between the woods of the upper Midwest and the canyons and mountains of the Rockies and the Southwest. He resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
