Overview

Our author firmly believes that a good laugh on a regular basis is a vital ingredient needed to enjoy life and overcome some of the stresses that accompany daily living. This humorous story touches on many familiar passages in history that are familiar to all of us, and yet is told in a manner guaranteed to tickle the funny bone, page after page. It was certainly his goal to not let this trip through the history book be a repetition of those days when as students we likely often times found historical recantations a bore.

Any reader who is looking forward with anxiety to Year 2010 when the Olympics will be held on Canada's Whistler Mountain will be certain to enjoy the author's version of the Origination of the Olympics. He has devoted an entire chapter to this subject entitled "It All Began on Mount Olympus."

About the Author

The author first saw light of day within a few miles of the American/Canadian border thereby becoming curious of what was south of that border - a curiosity which seems to have driven him to travel the U.S.A. at every opportunity. So he can now claim to have visited every state in the union as well as every province in Canada and numerous visits to Mexico.
