About the Author, Stephen Krensky

Stephen Krensky is the author of more than sixty fiction and nonfiction children's books. His recent titles include Paul Revere's Midnight Ride; Shooting For The Moon: The Amazing Life and Times of Annie Oakley; and The Moon Robber. Mr. Krensky lives in Massachusetts with his wife, Joan, and their family Kelly Dupre is an artist and author of picture books. The natural environment and the art and culture of indigenous people the world over are her greatest influences. The images in this book are relief prints, an old world craft with a distinct style. Kelly lives on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, Minnesota with her husband. This is her sixth children's picture book.
