Synopsis

Although iMac is noted for being a plug-and-play computer not requiring a hefty guide, a MacAddict contributor believes that his text's comprehensiveness and new coverage of the iBook and eMac justifies its length. Special sections cover using AppleWorks frames to create newsletters and reports, and classic Mac OS (i.e., versions prior to Mac OS X). Stauffer has a Web site focusing on this book. Dates are not given for the previous iterations. Annotation © 2004 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR
