About the Author, Bert Hill

Hill spent eleven seasons overseeing the Detroit Lions' strength and conditioning program. Hill played linebacker at Marion Military Institute Jr. College in Alabama during 1976-77, and one season at Wichita State in 1978. He earned his bachelor's degree in physical education from Auburn University at Montgomery in 1980. In 1982, Hill received his master's degree in physical education with an emphasis in strength physiology, also from Auburn University.

Watterson is one of the top strength and rehabilitation experts in the NFL, and is currently in his 17th season as the Tennessee Titans' strength and conditioning coach. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island and his master's degree from the University of Arizona.
