About the Author, Sam Martin

Sam Martin, previously senior editor at This Old House magazine, is the best-selling author of How to Mow the Lawn, How to Keep House, and Manspace: A Primal Guide to Marking Your Territory. Before that he lived in a tent in the forests of British Columbia for eight months while working as a tree planter.
 
Christian Casucci learned the "way of the woods" at an early age by accompanying his father on many a camping adventure zigzagging across the United States. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Darcy, and writes for television and film.
