His photographs have appeared in numerous national magazines, and he has been a regular contributor to the Day in the Life series, including the recently published A Day in the Life of Africa. In addition to How to Photograph Your Baby and How to Photograph Your Life, he collaborated with writer Anna Quindlen to create the best-selling Naked Babies and Siblings.
