Overview

This fresh, fun approach to human sexuality reflects a master teacher's ability to discern the needs, thoughts, and behaviors of today's diverse students. Janell Carroll addresses questions and issues of concern to students in a way that reflects the best empirical science of psychology, and clearly conveys the foundational biological and health issues. The author addresses relevant communication and relationship issues, in their social and cultural contexts as well as on an individual level. The features created for this book are derived from the author's own teaching experiences with a wide range of students—making this book truly representative of the students you teach. SEXUALITY NOW: EMBRACING DIVERSITY is the book both students and professors have been waiting for. Students want it because it relates to them, it speaks their language, they see images of themselves in the book, and it answers their questions. Professors will appreciate its emphasis on current research and its relevance to their students' concerns, which helps keep them interested and engaged in the class.
