Overview
Mary Emeline Malone has long courted trouble. With hopes for a fresh start, she packs up her life in Ireland and makes her way to America. But trouble is only beginning...for desire ignites the moment the tempestuous Mary sees Carson Barclay, the rugged, no-nonsense sheriff of Whistle Creek, Idaho. Never has she been so powerfully drawn to a man--or more determined to avoid the passion in his deep blue eyes. For how can Mary give her heart to the very man who could discover her secret past and destroy all she holds dear?"The author has brought to life a wonderful hero and heroine to whom readers will open their hearts. The love and compassion that flowed between [the main characters] was so warm and beautiful...it brought tears to my eyes."
Synopsis
Mary Malone comes to America to join the father of the child she's carrying, and instead has to flee New York when she thinks she has killed a man. Escaping to Idaho, she finds love, family, and faith.
