Overview

Whenever something out of the ordinary happens - a hail-Mary pass that scores the winning touchdown, an unexpected windfall of cash, a call from a long-lost friend, a biopsy that comes back negative - we call it a miracle. Through history, people of all cultural and religious backgrounds have believed in miracles. From Constantine's vision of the Cross at Milvian Bridge to the Star of Bethlehem that heralded the rise of a new messiah, empires and religions have flowered or faltered based on perceived miracles and visions.

While skeptics might argue that miraculous happenings are nothing more or less than mere coincidence, believers say they are the work of God. In his remarkable new book, In the Realm of Miracles & Visions, best-selling author E. Randall Floyd explores the fascinating truth behind some of the most famous miracles and visions in history, including the following: Stigmata: Wounds of Passion β€’ Bilocation β€’ Sacred Apparitions β€’ the Holy Fire of Jerusalem β€’ Weeping Madonnas & Bleeding Statues β€’ Laying on of Hands β€’ the Prophecies of Fatima and Lourdes β€’ Spear of Destiny β€’ Star of Bethlehem β€’ the Gift of the Veil-Born β€’ Signs, Wonders and Prophecies β€’ Miraculous Survivals β€’ Minds & Hands that Heal β€’ Flying Priests & Nuns

In this startling and thought-provoking book, readers will discover not only how miracles and visions have affected the lives of millions of ordinary people the world over, but also how miraculous events have changed the course of human history.
