Gr 3-6-These books are not suited for easy reference, and have confusing layouts. All of the captions are printed in beige rectangular boxes, and appear in the vicinity of the full-color photos but sometimes on the opposite page. While the typeface is large, the texts are too difficult for beginning readers. Both books conclude with a page that includes a scant index of nine words and a list of five "Words to Know."
