About The Author:
Beth Hall is the adoptive mom of Sofia Hall Gallagher who is Latina and aged 10, and James Hall Gallagher who is African American and aged 8. She grew up a member of an adoptive familyher sister, Barbara adopted by (and Beth having been born to) their parents. She lives in Oakland, California, with her family.
Together Beth and Gail are founders and co-directors of Pact, An Adoption Alliance. The author of numerous articles, they lecture across the country and are committed to serving children first.
