About the Author, Edward R. Fisk

EDWARD R. FISK, F.ASCE, PE, SE, LS, is a civil and structural engineer, a professional land surveyor, and a licensed engineering contractor who currently consults in Orange, California. He has served as the Civil Engineer Member of the California State Board of Registration for Construction Inspectors, which led to his advising the American Construction Inspector’s Association on establishing a voluntary certification program. He is a widely published author of professional papers and books, such as Construction Project Administration, the Construction Engineer’s Complete Handbook of Forms, and the Resident Engineer’s Field Manual, among others.
RANDY R. RAPP, D.Mgt, PE, CCE, CPC, AIC, is the Director of the BS in Construction Management program and an Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering and Building Construction at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. He has been directly involved in, or closely associated with, construction engineering and management from the job site to the executive office. The author of assorted publications about the industry, he also consults and delivers construction-related seminars.
