Synopsis

The Millers, a missionary family on furlough from Papua, New Guinea, have faced horrific spiritual warfare on the field and are still struggling with the consequences. Stephanie feels like she’s seeing strange and scary things. Are these nightmares or premonitions?

Meanwhile, James can’t seem to reconnect to the God he preaches about. Looking for a chance to regroup and reload, they seek refuge in a remote mountain lodge set aside for missionaries just like themselves. Then a storm comes, isolating the Millers from contact with anyone else. Or so they think.

Publishers Weekly

"Thrasher . . . demonstrates a considerable talent for the horror genre. Like Stephen King, Thrasher pits flawed but likable characters against evil forces that at first seem escapable but gradually take on a terrifying ubiquity."
