Overview
Data security is of increasing importance to businesses as the extent and value of electronic data grows. The commercial viability and profitability of enterprises of all sizes increasingly depends on the security, confidentiality and integrity of their data. The future of e-commerce, in particular, depends on data being secure, accessible and complete across the Web, and ultimately consumer confidence will depend on how secure they feel their personal data is.It is important that an organization should not only implement a set of controls and procedures for information security, but also manage and maintain them.
