Synopsis
If the battle is the Lord's, why do we insist on getting in God's way? Has the present over-emphasis of the demonic produced a corresponding de-emphasis of the divine? Are we really personally responsible for Satan's defeat? From Satan's creation to his ultimate defeat at Calvary, Jesus Christ has been absolute victor over the devil, whose defeat is as real as the morning sunrise. That defeat was prophesied in Genesis, declared and witnessed by Jesus and described in the book of Revelation. It is unnecessary therefore for us to now declare a way that has always belonged to God and for which we know the end results. It's God's War.
"Judson Cornwall has been a fixture on the religious scene now for more than three decades as pastor, teacher, author and traveling ambassador of Christ. His skills as a communicator have endeared him with ministers and lay people alike. He has written fifty books. During the nearly seventy years he has been preaching, he has gained considerable knowledge about fighting Satan, and he shares that experience with us here. He does not deny the reality of the satanic realm, but it disturbs him greatly to see the fascination modern Christians have for it. Jesus told His disciples, "Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven" (Luke 10:20).
