Overview
This new series from Waterbird Books examines a selection of countries, enabling young children to get a flavor of life in other parts of the world while making comparisons with their own. How far away is the country? What is the weather like? What do the people living there like to eat? Answers to questions such as these help children explore other cultures and get a sense of the lives of children in other countries. Each book also features a glossary, index, map, and further information about each country, including common phrases that are said. This series supplements school curriculum in social studies.
