Mengele, who performed horrendous experiments on concentration camp prisoners during World War II, escaped to South America, becoming one of the most hunted Nazis. Hussein is portrayed as a conniving and ruthless dictator who masterminded his own ascent to power in Iraq; the book includes his overthrow, but ends before his capture.
