Synopsis

Oh so cuddly, adorable, irresistible kittens leap off the pages of this companion book to the acclaimed Puppies! Puppies! Puppies!

"Here and there and everywhere, Kittens! Kittens! Kittens!" Cuddly kittens in all shapes, sizes, and colors fill the pages of this delightful book, from the team who created the "energetic, perfectly scanning rhyme and busy, happy artwork"* found in Puppies! Puppies! Puppies!

From sweet and timid newborns to graceful cats, this book traces the growth of kittens and celebrates all the important events in their young lives. Its jaunty, rhyming text makes it perfect for reading aloud to young kitten fans, who can point out their favorite fuzzball on every page.

Children's Literature

This large format feel-good-about-kittens book is illustrated with warm and cheerful kittens in every color in the rainbow. Kittens come in black and white and stripes. They are fluffy, puffy and tiny. They grow up fast with tummies full of mothers milk. As they grow they leave their mothers to explore new homes, where they chase toys, scratch on furniture, climb curtains and gang up on teddy bears. They play with paper bags, climb on the roof and fall asleep on the laundry. Kittens are here, there and everywhere. As they grow older they become more brave and independent. They can be hard to catch and hard to hold. Sometimes they are brave. Sometimes they will hide when they are feeling shy. Kittens can knock over knickknacks and chase toys. Hopefully they use their kitty litter. The endearing illustrations are a good match for the rhyming text. Many of the figures and kittens are outlined in a sunshine orange glow that adds almost a surreal quality to the illustrations.
