About the Author, Stephen W. Smith

STEPHEN W. SMITH is a member of the Irrigation Association, President-elect of the American Society of Irrigation Consultants, and President of Aqua Engineering, Inc., a Colorado-based firm specializing in water-conserving irrigation system design. He also teaches in the Chemical and Bioresource Engineering Department at Colorado State University.
