Overview
Library Instruction and Reference Services presents two opposing schools of thought in regard to library instruction: those who hold a firm belief in the value of library instruction and feel it warrants a separate place in the organizational structure of the library organization, and those who hold fast to the belief that library instruction is not needed as a separate library function or department and nor does it help the library fulfill its mission.
